***Colour Me Knitty***

Yes South Africa, winter is dawning on us. It may take a month to come, but as uncertain as this weather is, one must prepare now!

How to prepare? Have all your knits and grits! No, not the granny knits that put you to shame, but the stylish oversized, chunky, mixed-fabric, colour-blocking, worn-and-torn knits. Mix and match these knits with your leggings, tights, jeans and even your miniskirts and you have the stylish look for this winter…hell, even for a cold autumn/spring/summer day. Still not getting me? Check out these cool knit wear with different ways to put a stylish knit assemble for this winter.

Convinced? Here are the latest offerings by our beloved Woolworths and Cotton On for this winter. If you see what you like, then you know what to do…I already did it!
  • from Woolies:

  • from Cotton On:

Keep stylishly warm and cosy!

**Icons for Sure**

A good friend of mine (@MizZMiLLyB ) gave me the great idea of posting style icons next time around, and here it is. Instead of showing you the usual (lady Gaga, Rihanna, Kate Moss…etc.), I am going to hit you with some fresh 2012/2013 fashionistas. Since they are sooo many, here are the top 5 that caught my eye!

First off is the statement maker, Lena Perminova (also known as Elena Perminova).

Not only is she beautiful, but DZAYM, her style is daring, vibrant and flawless!!! My favourite icon…for now.

Second: Chloe Sevigny. I am sure you have notice her, because I sure did. This American actress has been around for quite some time, and for a 38 year old, she dresses more fashionably than us younglings…

Third: Emma Stone.
This actress has been rising and rising over the years…but enough about her acting career, have you also noticed how she always seems to look very stylish? Here is proof:

Fourth: Olsen Twins. Nothing fresh about these icons when it comes to fashion, and all I know about their style has been said a thousand times before. So, let the pictures do the talking.

Fifth: Allison Williams. Prim, proper, classy, with a hint of funky and that is what you get when you look at Ali’s clothes. Love it!

Obviously I am missing a lot more, but they will gradually appear on my blog! If you have any great icons you would like me to explore, tweet me (@BetsuBlog) or email me (bechuana.keamoraka@gmail.com).

If you want the Links to all fabulous  icons mentioned and more, here you go…
…as for the rest of the pics, Google.

Love you Lots
xx

Vogue 2012: Part 1

Vogue Italia Beauty January 2013
I have been unfortunately missing for the past 3 months, and that simply will not do! As a lovely comeback, I would like to bombard you with all (well, most) Vogue covers and spread for the oh-so-awesome year, 2012! Since there is a different Vogue issue in almost every country in the world, posting the all would be quite tasking, for the both of us. So I have split them in to two months per post. In a classic “let the pictures do the talking” spread, I am going to sum up Vogue’s February and March rather bright 2012 spreads for you:

**February**

                                                **MARCH**

I hope I am forgiven for my absence after this. If not, next post will be the July to December issues. I’m on a mission this year Betsus, and I promise not to disappear on you again…

Lots of Love
